We love this swing...it was exactly what we were looking for and very sturdy

Kind of sad the Rope is way too short to swing is still sitting in my bedroom. It looks like a pretty varnished piece of wood. It's not varnished which I need to do to weatherproof it and the Rope is way too short and now I'm out of money to get extra rope so it's just sitting in my bedroom :-( I will prevail though I will try to get this done just make sure you order the longest rope possible

I ordered this awesome swing for my granddaughter in VT. Beautiful workmanship,. I upgraded to the thicker rope and had protective finish added. The quality is excellent and will last for many years. I looked all over the internet and there was no comparison to this well made swing, and to my delight it was made right here in NC. It was shipped in less than a week! This is even nicer than I hoped. I had my husband and I's initials inside a heart with the date of our marriage carved on the seat. It looks amazing! It is a super heavy solid wood and the ingraving is deep and finished beautifully. It looks exactly the way I hoped it would hanging from the tree in our front yard.

This was a gift for someone moving to country. She loved it and her grandchildren love it to!
